Share

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has successfully grown edible veggies on the international space station. As of now it’s only red romaine lettuce but NASA contends growing veggies in space will significantly cut down on the cost of shipping food.  According to NASA it costs about $10,000 to send 1 pound of food to astronauts in space.
