The Emmy Awards is the official Kick off to Awards season. Instead of a “RED” carpet, the carpet was Purple in honor of Hollywood’s ROYALTY, and we are here for it. The gowns, the hair, the fashion and glam did not disappoint. Kyndall Jenner was snatched. She looked like an absolute figurine in a latex body suit. No sweat standing next to her older sis Kim Kardashian.

Dior, Elie Saab, Valentino, Gucci and Christian Siriano delivered bold and risky looks. COUTURE was expressed as celebrities demonstrated an individual celebration of style. tons of GIGANTIC bold bows, NECKLINES and sleeves were appreciated and so many of bold shades of Pink. Our guess is because of Breast Cancer awareness  and Plum.

Risky, Colorful, Tuxedo Jackets draped the men. Sterling K Brown

The men did not disappoint but we all KNOW that Awards season is all about the women.

  •  Our favorite was Sterling K. Brown in Brioni
  • James Van Der Beek – SALMON Velvet Tux Mustard
  • Nikolai Costel Waldo Dolce & Gabanna from Dancing wit the Stars
  • Mila Vincent in Bruno Cuccinelli

Designed to create a dialogue between fashion and the masterworks of religious art in the museum’s holdings, the show will be presented in a trinity of locations: the Anna Wintour Costume Center, the medieval galleries at the Met’s Fifth Avenue location, and further uptown at the Cloisters. Central to the conversation will be the papal garb on loan from the Sistine Chapel sacristy, many of which have never been seen outside the Vatican, even in the 1983 Met blockbuster, “The Vatican Collections: The Papacy and Art.”

Rihanna is Met Gala Royalty. This is her 7th year in attendance.
